PMU Skillz Awards 2026
Czech & Slovakia Edition
1. BASIC INFORMATION
The competition is intended for PMU artists and beauty professionals who want to present their work and measure their skills in individual categories.
The competition takes place online. Participants upload their work through a designated system.
2. ANONYMITY AND FAIR EVALUATION
Each competitor will be assigned a unique competition number after registration.
👉 This number serves to:
- anonymize the work
- objective evaluation
- ensure maximum fairness
❗ The name of the competitor or the name of his salon must not be visible anywhere in the photos or videos.
3. SUBMISSION DEADLINE
📅 Deadline for uploading work: 31. 8. 2026
❗ After this date, it will not be possible to accept or change the work.
4. REQUIREMENTS FOR MODELS
The model must not have any makeup applied to the area of the PMU tattoo. The model may be generally edited, but outside the tattoo area.
❗ Violations may result in disqualification or a reduction in points.
5. PHOTO AND VIDEO EDITING
🚫 STRICTLY PROHIBITED:
- retouching
- filters
- color adjustments
- skin smoothing
- AI adjustments
- any graphic interventions
👉 Photos and videos must be:
- authentic own work
- unedited
- in the real form of the work result
❗ Any violation = immediate disqualification
6. PHOTO REQUIREMENTS
📸 Photos must meet:
- high resolution and quality
- sharp focus
- natural light or quality studio lighting
- neutral background
👉 Photos must allow for:
- detailed zoom
- technique assessment
- symmetry assessment (for techniques where symmetry is important)
❗Please note that low photo quality may negatively affect the evaluation.
7. VIDEO REQUIREMENTS
🎥 The video must:
be in high quality (min. Full HD – 1080p)
have a stable image
capture the real result of the work
be without filters and edits
👉 Recommended:
natural light
close-up shots
❗ Poor quality video can negatively affect the rating.
8. MANDATORY ANGLES AND SHOTS
Each category must contain mandatory photos:
💎 GENERAL RULES (applies to all categories)
To make it clear that the work was made within the framework of this competition, each model must have a visible contestant number. We recommend printing it out and the client can hold it during the photo shoot.
Each work must include:
PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE MODEL BEFORE THE PROCEDURE: at least 1x front photo for symmetry comparison
PHOTOGRAPHS AFTER THE PROCEDURE:
📸 1x front view (symmetry)
📸 1x detail (sharp focus on the work)
📸 1x side profile (right side)
📸 1x side profile (left side)
Photos must be: sharp, without shadows through PMU, without filters
PMU EYEBROWS (powder / hairstrokes / microblading...)
📸 MANDATORY PHOTOS (model before and after):
Front view (full face before and after)
- eyebrow symmetry
- neutral expression
Detail of both eyebrows (before and after)
- structure
- pixelation / strokes
Detail of the right eyebrow
Detail of the left eyebrow
Side profile right
Side profile left
👉 MANDATORY VIDEO: 15 seconds front view for symmetry comparison after tattooing. 15 seconds of details.
Additional videos of slight head movement (revealing work from all angles), details of pixelation, hairs, etc.
PMU LIPS
📸 MANDATORY PHOTOS (model before and after):
Front view (closed mouth before and after)
Front view (slightly open mouth, after pmu is enough)
Detail of lips (before and after)
Detail of contour
Side profile right
Side profile left
👉 important: no gloss / lipstick - natural state (gloss can only be used for additional photos)
👉 MANDATORY VIDEO: 15 seconds of front view for symmetry comparison.
Additional videos of slight head movement (revealing work from all angles), pixelation details, contours, etc.
PMU EYELINERS
📸 MANDATORY PHOTOS (model before and after):
Closed eyes (both at once before and after)
Open eyes front view (to compare ends before and after)
Open eyes bottom view (to compare lash line)
Right eye detail
Left eye detail
Shading details
👉 MANDATORY VIDEO: 15 seconds front view for symmetry comparison. 15 seconds video of shading details.
Additional videos details of pixelation, lash lines...
AREOLA MODEL WORK:
📸 MANDATORY SHOTS (model before and after):
Front view (before and after, the entire result before and after)
Areola detail (one and the other, if both were tattooed, if only one, the detail of the tattoo)
Side angle (depth and realism of one and the other)
👉 MANDATORY VIDEO: 15 seconds front view to compare symmetry. 15 seconds video of shading detail.
Additional videos details of shading, passing over an object to emphasize a flat surface, from the side, etc.
MINI TATTOO LIVE MODEL
📸 MANDATORY SHOTS:
Overall view (location, does not have to be a before photo)
Tattoo detail
Line detail / shading
Side angle

Additional videos detail pixelation, contours, etc.
LATEX
📸 MANDATORY PHOTOS:
The entire surface of the latex (for symmetry comparison)

🔥 IMPORTANT NOTICE:
❗ If all mandatory photos and videos of the work are not provided, this may negatively affect the evaluation.
9. JUDGING
Entries will be judged by a panel of judges based on:
Technique
Symmetry
Purity of work
Overall aesthetic impression
Each contestant can receive a maximum of 100 points from an individual judge.
👉 The evaluation may include a comment from the jury, or you can describe your work (e.g. how you felt about the work, why the client had swelling, etc.)
10. COMPETITOR'S RESPONSIBILITY
The competitor is responsible for:
- the authenticity of their work
- the model's consent to the use of photos and videos and their possible publication
- compliance with all competition conditions
11. DISQUALIFICATION
The organizer reserves the right to disqualify the competitor in the event of:
- violation of the rules
- editing of photos or videos
- failure to comply with the requirements
- attempt to influence the evaluation
WITHDRAWAL FROM THE COMPETITION AND CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
12. WITHDRAWAL FROM THE COMPETITION
The participant has the right not to participate in the competition at any time, even after registration.
In such a case:
participation in the competition is terminated
the competitor will not be included in the evaluation
13. CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
❗ The paid registration fee is non-refundable.
After paying the registration fee, it is not possible to:
- request a refund
- transfer participation to another person
- move participation to the next year
This fee serves to ensure the organization of the competition, administration and preparation of the evaluation process.
❗ There is no legal claim to a refund of the registration fee.
14. CANCELLATION OF THE COMPETITION BY THE ORGANIZER
In the event that the competition is canceled by the organizer, participants will be offered a refund of the registration fee.
15. FINAL PROVISIONS
By submitting the application, the competitor agrees to these terms and conditions. The organizer reserves the right to modify the rules if necessary, but must inform the competitor of the changes.
🔥 PROCEDURE FOR COMPETITORS

1. REGISTRATION FOR THE COMPETITION
The participant first officially registers via the website www.fleisacademy.com In the application, he/she will indicate.
2. PAYMENT INVITATION
Based on the number of categories entered, the participant will be sent a request to pay the registration fee. The amount of the fee depends on the number of selected categories.
3. INCLUSION IN THE COMPETITION
After receiving the payment:
- the participant will be officially entered into the competition
- he/she will be manually assigned a competition number that is valid for all entered categories
⏳ Assigning a competition number may take several days.
4. ACCESS TO UPLOADING WORKS
An individual folder on Google Drive will be created for each competitor. Access will be:
shared to the email address provided in the application
intended exclusively for uploading competition materials
5. UPLOADING COMPETITION WORKS
📅 Deadline for submission is August 31, 2026. The contestant will upload to their folder:
- mandatory photos
- mandatory videos
- additional additional photos or videos (if they wish)
If the work is not successful, the original materials can be removed and new ones uploaded, but no later than August 31, 2026.
6. COMMENT ON THE WORK
Each contestant will have an online document prepared for each work in their folder, where the contestant will have the opportunity to leave an optional comment. You can write a comment about:
- the progress of the work
- the skin reaction
- the individual specifics of the model, etc.
7. COMPETITION NUMBER
❗ Each competitor is obliged to:
- use their competition number and place it on the model at least in the overall views-
- ensure its visibility on the model during documentation
The number is used for anonymous evaluation and correct identification of the work.
8. COMPLIANCE WITH THE RULES
Each participant is obliged to comply with the complete rules of the competition, see the text above❗
Failure to comply with the rules may lead to a reduction in the points rating or disqualification.
9. ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS
The ceremony of announcing the winners will take place LIVE at the gala evening, details about this event can be found on our website www.fleisacademy.com.
10. ONLINE PUBLICATION
In case of your absence from the gala evening, you will find out the results on our website www.fleisacademy.com or via our social networks.
🔥 RECOMMENDATIONS
Don't leave the upload to the last minute.
Pay attention to the quality of the photos and compliance with all requirements.
Presentation quality = half the success.
Even great work can lose points due to poor documentation.
